Get Your Santa On

Are you drawn to a particular type of Stamp Set when you see them? When a new catalogue comes out I am always drawn to the stamps you can colour be it watercolour or however you like to colour so when the Holiday Catalogue came out and I saw the Get Your Santa On stamp set I knew I had to get it! Then the other day my sweet friend Sandi shared a Sketch Challenge through her Stamping and Blogging site .. I do love doing Sketch Challenges and this one just jumped at me and considering I’d coloured the fireplace from the Santa Set ‘as therapy’ the day before it was perfect and this is the card I made … I just loved colouring this stamp with my Blendabilities! They really do make it easy to colour and blend so nicely and the colour lifter makes it easy to get depth or lighten some shades. Now my little wreath … it doesnt have any little berries on it so I had to create my own …. Did you know with your blendabilities you can colour your pearls and rhinestones and the colour doesnt rub off?  True Story … It’s what I did here … I just coloured three rhinestones with my Medium Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities Pen.  Left it for a few seconds then popped it on my wreath.
